A brief history

V8COIN is a finance protocol bridging financial and digital exclusion through efficient lending. By reducing the cost of capital for borrowers and increasing liquidity utilization rate for lenders the protocol provides exposure to liquidity (capital) for financially excluded borrowers by traditional finance and capitally inefficient existing Defi protocols.

Around 3.5 billion people (44 percent of the global population) nearly half the world population lives on less than $6.85 per day. With 8.5 percent of the global population living on less than $2.15 per day and a third of the global population, 2.6 billion people digitally unconnected.

Development began on the project in 2024 with a focus on addressing this problem statement in addition to the pooling inefficiencies and cost of capital with existing Defi protocols. The protocol provides saving, lending, borrowing, supplying and earning on both stable and native token assets with yield optimization and automated risk management to safeguard borrower collateral. Partnering with global institutions with reach and real-world impact, V8COIN is working to bridge financial and digital exclusion. No matter where you were born or where you live, digital wealth belongs to everyone and everybody should have access to the shared prosperity necessary to fully participate in the 21st century society.
